The pizza here is just OK. I feel they skimp on the cheese, compared to other places. I think their other dishes are better. I liked the cheese steak sandwich. My friend had ravioli and said it was okay, but also said she had better. There's a nice view of the lake and the service is good and friendly.

This was a horrible experience. $37.00 for an 18" Stromboli, 12" cheese steak, 12" Italian sub, and a 2liter Pepsi. The Stromboli was more dough than anything and dry. The Italian sub was loaded with Mayo (who puts Mayo on an Italian). The cheese steak and Pepsi were the only foods worth consuming. I waited to post this review because I wanted to be fair to the proprietor. We called and politely described our displeasure in the food that we received. Had he have handled the situation politely and professionally I would not have been so harsh in my review. However, that was not the case. He was very rude, and instead of apologizing he made excuses that were actually blaming us for the error in the food quality.

I've ordered the same exact pizza about a dozen times and it's always different every time. Undercooked, overcooked, then there's more sauce than mozz like specks of cheese in a pool of sauce on my extra cheese barely cooked, sauce was actually cool one time, never the same pizza, rarely good. Last time I ordered they said 30 min and they hadn't even started it when I got there in 30. There's an issue and excuses every time. I really tried but this place is just bad, nobody is going to put up with that bad of a service. On top of that not a single one of them looks or sounds like they want to be there.

We have been to Lakeside Pizzeria many times and they never disappoint. The pizza is always delicious and the dinner are great too. We had the Chicken Marcella and and a Lakeside Special Pizza. We were not disappointed as usual. AWESOME MEAL!

We were the only customers (5) people at a table in the entire restaurant. There was a football game on. I think we were interrupting them from watching the game. We all got our drinks and placed our order. 2 pizzas and an order of bacon/cheese fries. We first got our fries. I asked the waiter for plates and silverware. He asked me: how many? 5 people, 5 plates and 5 sets of utensils. He asked if we'd like ketchup. I answered "yes please". Some how he for got, and disappeared into the kitchen. I went up to the counter and asked the pizza maker for ketchup. He then told our waiter to get it. The fries came out on a much smaller plate than the first time that we ordered them (they were excellent). The fries were a little underdone but still edible this time. The cheese was fine but they must have been out of bacon as there was fried up ham which didn't taste like bacon. After a while, the pizza maker brought our pizzas. We asked for 2 refill. He returned to the soda fountain. There he watched the game for about 20 seconds and returned to the kitchen. He then came out to the dining room about 5 minutes later to check on things. Again we asked for refills. This time he remembered to bring. I could see if they were busy, but I heard the phone only ring a couple times. The pizzas were good as usual. They tend to make them with a wider piece of crust than most restaurants but again they make a good pie. I'd suggest take out when ordering unless you Luck out and get one of the better waitresses.
